Course Description and Objectives

The course educates workers in the California Wildfire Smoke Standard.  Upon completion you will understand the standard and know when and how it is safe or unsafe to work. 

Course Topics

• Introduction to wildfire smoke.
• The effects of wildfire smoke
• The Cal/OSHA regulation.
• Steps of compliance
• Role of respiratory protection.

Comprehension/Evaluation

• A final exam with a score of at least 70% required to pass the class
