Course Description and Objectives

This course should be taken by all qualified electrical workers. At the completion of the course you will understand what it means to be a qualified electrical worker and the important steps needed to stay safe.

• Introduction to electrical safety
• Electrical safety hazards
• Planning for electrical safety
• Lockout/tagout procedures 
• Arc flash requirements and NFPA 70-E remiders
• Training review

Comprehension/Evaluation

• A final exam with a score of at least 70% required to pass the class
