Are meetings available in Spanish?

Yes they are! They are available and can be conducted in both English and Spanish.

What if I need a meeting not currently in the app?

No problem! Just contact us: [email protected] Let us know what topic you need and and we will get it to you within 24 hours. 

Is it required that employees sign in to the meeting?

In general OSHA does not require signatures on tailgate meetings. Just documentation of who is in attendance. (However, some states may require them). For your convenience, you can easily obtain signatures in the app on your mobile device. In addition, if you wish to take a photo of who is in attendance, we have given you that option as well!

How do I conduct a meeting with the app?

It is easy to conduct a meeting. Do the following:

• Choose the project you are on
• Browse, preview and select the topic you want
• Note: The date and time of the meeting are automatically recorded
• Select, or add the employees in attendance
• If you want, the employees can sign verifying their attendance right in the app
• Conduct the meeting
• If you want, take a photo of those in attendance
• Make any additional notes of items discussed
• When complete, the conductor provides his signature right int he app!

Why don't you have thousands of topics available, as some others do?

We have produced the most needed topics, and the ones that relate to most companies work. They are well thought out and of the highest quality. And besides, why have thousands if they have random information and poor quality? We add additional topics every month. In addition, if you need something we don't have, just email us and we will get it to you!

Is a report created from the meeting?

Yes! A PDF report is created and stored in your company portal. It includes documentation of who was in attendance. 

Is it easy to do an inspection on my mobile device?

Yes! It is very easy. Here are the steps:

• The app user simply selects the project they are on and which inspection they would like to conduct.
• The date and time is automatically entered.
• They proceed through the inspection by answering questions clicking either "Satisfactory", 'Unsatisfactory" or "N/A".  
• Notes can be entered for each inspection item.
• Photos can be taken for each inspection item and marked up!
• For any "unsatisfactory items", a thread is created that documents what the violation is, and who the responsible contractor is. The thread is emailed out to whoever you choose. The corrective action can be documented.

What type of project inspections does the app have?

• Framing inspection
• Roofing inspection
• Daily scaffold inspection (Federal and Cal/OSHA)

How do I perform a Hot Work Permit?

It is easy! Follow these steps:

• Select what project you are on
• The date and time are automatically noted
• Enter the location of work
• Select the start time and anticipated end time of the hot work
• Select who the fire watch person will be and the end of the fire watch time
• Verify that those involved with the hot work are trained
• Simply follow the questions to verify everything is safe to perform the work
• Sign in the app that you approved work to begin

Is a report created for the permit?

Yes! A PDF report is created and stored in your company portal. 

How do I perform a Confined Space  Permit?

It is easy! Follow these steps:

• Select what project you are on
• Enter the site location,  description of the space, and type of work that will be performed in the space
• Select if a hot work permit is also needed. 
• The date and time of the permit is automatically noted 
• Enter the anticipated duration of the permit (in hours)
• The entry supervisor is automatically noted and provides his signature in the app
• Select what the means of rescue is (Non-entry, Entry), and describe the set up. 
• Select the authorized entrants and attendants for the space
• Follow a checklist for means of communication, space hazards and PPE required. 
• Check the locations where air monitoring will be done and the type of ventilation that is being used
• Enter the readings in app system for Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide, Hydrogen Sulfide, and LEL's. Readings are entered, before mechanical ventilation is set up, and after. Readings can also be entered periodically

What types of Investigations can I conduct in the app?

You can conduct the following:

• Injury Investigation
• Illness Investigation
• Property Damage Investigation

How do I perform an Investigation

It is easy! Follow these steps:

• Select what project you are on
• Select the type of investigation
• Select the date and time of the incident
• Select the date and time of the investigation
• Select the affected persons (persons involved) and the name of their employer
• Enter the nature of injury, if applicable
• Enter a description of the incident 
• Record witness statements 
• Add photos and comments if you would like. You can even annotate your photos!
• Enter the root cause, contributing factors, corrective action, and any additional information needed
• The investigator provides his signature in the app

Yes! A PDF report is created and stored in your company portal. 

How do I issue an employee violation?

It is easy! Follow these steps:

• Select what project you are on
• Select the employee involved
• Select the date and time of the incident
• Select the date and time of the violation notice (this is automatically recorded)
• Select the employee's name
• Enter a description of the violation
• Enter the disciplinary action taken
• Both the supervisor and employee provide their signatures right in the app
